Founded in 1970, E.R. Williams Ltd is a specialist commercial painting and decorating company that provides services to a wide range of sectors including social housing, residential property management, education (schools and universities), industrial, office, retail, arts, and hospitality.
The company’s range of services are predominantly painting and decorating, but also include the application of specialist coatings, wallcoverings, and pre-paint property repairs. E.R. Williams Ltd teams have many years of experience in working in occupied premises, providing resident liaison services on social housing schemes. They have a long serving workforce and established base of returning customers driven by a proven record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Ian Williams specialises in property maintenance and improvement, both planned and reactive repairs, painting and redecoration programmes, passive fire protection and compliance services. The company works with high profile clients across the housing, education, senior living, and commercial markets. They enjoy long-term relationships with customers and are actively involved with many leading industry bodies, such as NHMF, Housing Forum, ARMA, ISBA, ARCO & EROSH. It is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned property services companies, and is based in Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol.
When announcing its acquisition of E.R. Williams Ltd, Ian Williams made it clear that the move will further their presence in the North of England, while expanding its painting and decorating resource and capacity.
