Entrepreneurs Hub was founded in 2012 by Malcolm Murray and Andrew Shepperd, seasoned M&A experts with significant transaction experience. Built to provide business owners with trusted advice, the business was set-up to be a challenger bringing expert led corporate finance services to the SME market.

Our directors bring board-level expertise in management, business growth and exit planning, leading a team that has successfully facilitated hundreds of transactions.

How do you maintain confidentiality?

Confidentiality is one of the first concerns many of our clients have, and we take it very seriously at Entrepreneurs Hub. Protecting your business’s privacy is a top priority throughout the entire process, and we ensure confidentiality is maintained at every step. We are highly cautious when releasing any information to potential acquirers, and all initial approaches are made anonymously.

We work closely with you to determine the best communication methods to safeguard internal confidentiality – whether via email, phone, or written correspondence. You will have full visibility of every document, with the ability to approve or request changes as needed.

Before we make any approach to prospective buyers, they must be approved by you. Additionally, all potential acquirers are required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before any information, including the identity of your business, is shared.

If you’d like Entrepreneurs Hub to complete an NDA before sharing more detailed information, just let us know, and we’ll be happy to provide one.

What is your fee structure?

Choosing the right adviser is about more than just expertise – it’s about finding a team you connect with and a process you trust.

Our fee structure is designed to align with your success – when you win, we win. The majority of our fees come from a success fee, which is only paid when your business is sold and when you receive payment.

We do charge a small retainer fee, spread over several months at the start of the process. This varies depending on the complexity and readiness of your business for sale and helps cover some initial costs. However, our ultimate goal is a successful sale, as that’s where we all benefit.

We choose to work with businesses we genuinely believe we can sell – because your success is our success.
