Katy Hewett-Stanley
Executive Assistant
What part do you play in the Entrepreneurs Hub team?
My role at Entrepreneurs Hub is very varied, I am Malcolm’s Executive Assistant, but I also get involved with providing support to all members of the wider team. I also play a big part in organising the events for the company, from our very successful charity golf days, to our own internal celebrations. I really enjoy the variety of my role, as no two days are ever the same.
What experience do you bring to the table?
Before starting at Entrepreneurs Hub, I used to work in the charity world, at Guide Dogs. I worked as a Marketing Campaign Manager, which was just a dream working with real purpose and of course the puppies.
In the main my role at Entrepreneurs Hub is different to my previous experience, but I do feel the purpose is there in a different way….we make a big impact on people’s lives and it’s great to play a little part in that. Every now and then I also like to stick my nose into the Marketing team with a little idea or two!
What do you like to get up to outside of work?
Outside of work, I have a very busy home life, with my young family. Both of my children play competitive sports so I’m either on the side of a Rugby pitch or driving the UK for Cheerleading competitions. As a family, we love being out and about in the fresh air, taking the dog out, exploring etc. I am an active person and love to start the day with a 6am gym session to clear my head. I love to be around my family and friends and enjoy a nice little sunny evening pub garden wine.
What’s the best thing about working at Entrepreneurs Hub?
The best thing about working at Entrepreneurs Hub is the people. We really are a team and are all here with the same passion of getting the best outcome for the clients we work with.
You can only listen to one artist or band for the rest of your life. Who is it?
I love so many genres of music, this one is very hard to choose. I grew up in the RnB and Garage era and you just cant beat it, they don’t make music like that these days. So to answer the question, can I choose an “Old Skool” compilation CD?
What’s something we might be surprised to learn about you?
I am obsessed with True Crime. I’m so interested in the psychology of why people do the things they do. I think I must have been a detective or a phycologist in a previous life.
