What part do you play in the Entrepreneurs Hub team?
As Co-Founder and Managing Director, I co-lead our brilliant team and support them to ensure they have everything they need to grow and succeed. I’m responsible for client acquisition and lead our EOT transactions. I have a strong passion for ensuring our clients receive the best possible service from us and ultimately achieve the exit they want and deserve.
What experience do you bring to the table?
As a business owner and serial entrepreneur with decades of experience in start-ups, scaling, and selling businesses, I’ve faced many challenges and enjoyed success throughout my career. I believe this gives me a rare empathy with the clients we support. As part of my journey, I co-founded a successful company with James Caan (Dragons’ Den) and built FI, an information service for the engineering and manufacturing sectors, from a 4-person start-up in a garage to a 165-strong international operation, partially sold for $10.8 million in 2001.
The 20 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and have advised business owners on over 100 + transactions across sectors including technology, manufacturing, engineering, information services, automotive, retail, and construction.
What do you like to get up to outside of work?
Spending time with my beautiful wife Julie, my 3 children, 2 grandchildren, and friends. Julie and I love road trip holidays and eating out.
I enjoy staying active, playing golf, walking, going to the gym, and riding my Peloton almost every day.
I also volunteer as a National Trainer for UK Street Pastors and as an active volunteer for Basingstoke Street Pastors for over 17 years, working closely with the night-time economy.
What’s the best thing about working at Entrepreneurs Hub?
Got to be the thrill of completing the sale and celebrating with our clients after we’ve sold their business and achieved the goal we set out to achieve. I consider it an honour and a privilege when a client trusts us with selling their life’s work. I also love working with the awesome team we’ve built and seeing people grow and develop within the business.

What’s something we might be surprised to learn about you?
I ran the New York Marathon in 2020 and can say one was enough!!!
