Mike O’Dwyer

Project Director

What part do you play in the Entrepreneurs Hub team?

I work in the capacity of Project Director that entails working closely with existing clients who wish to sell their business but are currently in need of support to be in the best position to maximise the ultimate sales value. This entails reviewing and making recommendations on all aspects of business.

All of this in undertaken in an open and collegiate style that is friendly and challenging all built on trust and personal integrity.

What experience do you bring to the table?

A wealth of corporate experience in both operational and strategic roles mainly in “customer facing” businesses, which required balancing the strategic needs of  the business with brand reach and reputation. An effective communicator who can summarise situations in a way that naturally generates trust and respect for all concerned. A natural leader and communicator.

What do you like to get up to outside of work?

I am a Trustee and a Member of North East Hants Academy Trust which incorporates Queen Mary’s College, a position I have held for more that 20 years and is my way of putting back something into the local community.

I enjoy endurance events, that includes long distance bicycle road races, mountain biking, cross country running and mountaineering all of which keeps me fit and gets me out from behind a desk.

What’s the best thing about working at Entrepreneurs Hub?

Put simply the people and the variety of clients and a high of active engagement.

You can only listen to one artist or band for the rest of your life. Who is it?

I enjoy classical music.

What’s something we might be surprised to learn about you?

I was the youngest Queen Scout in my county.
