What part do you play in the Entrepreneurs Hub team?

As a member of the research team, I am responsible for developing a research framework and curating a list of potential buyers that are tailored to each client using financial metrics and wider M&A analysis. Although this is my core role, I like to help out wherever I can, whether that’s reviewing information memorandums, researching the wider M&A market, or using my researching skills and tools to support the marketing team. I particularly enjoy the early stages of a project, when I’m learning what makes each client’s business unique and considering how best to pair them with potential buyers.

What experience do you bring to the table?

I studied Politics, Sociology, and East European Studies at UCL, something of an academic generalist. My course allowed for wide ranging studies, from soviet film to comparative political analysis and migration studies. I’ve noticed that my broad knowledge has helped me quickly understand the needs of each project, while my analytical skills have provided a great foundation for the workplace.

What do you like to get up to outside of work?

I love swimming, particularly wild swimming, so in spring and summer I’m often in a river or lake some way out from London. Having a sister who lives on a constantly moving houseboat makes finding new swimming spots much easier! I’m also an avid cook and love hosting when I can, taking real pleasure in seasonal produce.

What’s the best thing about working at Entrepreneurs Hub?

What I love about working here is the collaborative spirit, and hearing peoples stories. As a part of my role, I aim to understand each client’s individual hopes and focus on finding potential buyers with them in mind. People have always been at the heart of my decision making and it’s a real joy to be able to continue this in my working life.

You can only listen to one artist or band for the rest of your life. Who is it?

Big Thief (Time Escaping is a real favourite of mine – in fact the necklace I’m wearing in my headshot is based off this song).

What’s something we might be surprised to learn about you?

I have lived in 6 countries.

Two people sit by a river on a sunny day, smiling at each other. Trees with spring foliage line the riverbank, and a narrowboat is moored behind them. The atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful.
