Operations Manager
What part do you play in the Entrepreneurs Hub team?
I oversee the process to take our clients to market, including managing the research, documents and approach teams. I am also heavily involved in the initial discovery process, building a clear understanding of our clients’ businesses. As Operations Manager, I also ensure that our systems and resources are optimised, with a continual innovation focus.
What experience do you bring to the table?
I previously worked as a market researcher at an FMCG market research company in the beverage industry, before joining EH over a decade ago as a research and document writer, a team I now manage. On top of that, I bring a curious and analytical mind to the process having spoken to hundreds of business owners in my time in corporate finance.
What do you like to get up to outside of work?
I like to be fairly active, walking my dog, Gimli or playing practically any sport. As well as being a coach of a sport you may never have heard of, korfball, I am a keen cricketer for a local village as a very medium paced bowler.
What’s the best thing about working at Entrepreneurs Hub?
As a sector-agnostic business, I love meeting new clients, hearing their stories and learning about businesses in many and varied industries. I also love working with our supportive and talented team.
You can only listen to one artist or band for the rest of your life. Who is it?
While I am more of a podcast guy, as a teenager in the noughties, it has to be Arctic Monkeys.
What’s something we might be surprised to learn about you?
I am somewhat-directly related to the Bee Gees.
