Derbyshire’s Emergency Communications Provider Goes Global

Entrepreneurs Hub are pleased to announce that Sdiptech AB (publ) has acquired all shares in Alerter Group Ltd, a technology company providing emergency communications systems for people with sensory and physical disabilities in the UK and Ireland.

 If a fire occurs in a building, your chances of survival will improve dramatically if you are alerted quickly and are able to get out fast. Alerter Group (https://alertergroup.com/) specialise in developing products that give people with sensory and physical disabilities, alerts and a means of communication in the event of an evacuation emergency.

The Deaf Alerter system provides personal and portable alarms for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing, instantly alerting them of the need to evacuate the building. The Refuge Alerter is a radio-based system providing a vital line of communication with emergency services for people with disabilities who are sheltering in a designated refuge area during a building evacuation. The company has also developed other adaptable radio-based communication systems for high-risk workplaces.
